Protein Atlas Available

FYI, are you aware of the Human Protein Atlas http://www.proteinatlas.org/index.php ?
It lets you look up how normal or cancer tissues stain (or don’t stain) with a given antibody and shows tissue microarray images of the staining. (There are other things that can be looked up too.)
If you go to the above website and type in the name of a target at the ‘enter search’, e.g. HER2, and then click ‘search’ it takes you to a ‘search results’ page that lists the gene name, in this case ‘ERB2’. If you click on the gene name, ‘ERB2’, you go to a ‘ERBB2 gene information’ page. On the left side of this is a ‘Navigation’ box. In this box, if you click on ‘Expression profiles – IHC’, you can then scroll down a page that has panels for Normal Tissue - IHC, Cancer Tissue – IHC, Cell lines – IHC. Clicking on a listed item, e.g. breast cancer, takes you to a panel of TMA images that can be clicked for magnification.
